An Introduction To Nick Haskell

Nick Haskell is recognised as one of the countries top motocross photographers. His images have graced the pages of newspapers, books and magazines all across the globe for more than three decades.

His work has taken him the length and breadth of Europe as he followed the prestigious Motocross Grand Prix series, although he is probably best known as the photographer responsible for capturing what many have described as the most iconic image in motocross history, the now infamous ‘Jobe double’ jump shot from the 1984 500cc British Motocross Grand Prix at Hawkstone Park in Shropshire.

An image that is as popular today as it was more than twenty five years ago when it was captured.

Nowadays, Nick’s work concentrates mainly on the domestic motocross scene, focussing more on Classic, Twinshock and Evo racing, although he still likes to follow the modern championship event when his busy work schedule permits. In more than forty years of photographing motocross, Nick has lost none of his passion, as he continues to strive for the perfect image.
